changing library from personal to a church library

Hello,
I have set up the library and now want to change it to an organization library. Can I just change the member name and the password so that others can access the catalog? Should I keep my email address on the account? Is there a way to keep users from changing the records, deleting or adding materials?

The way to keep users from changing information is not to give them the password. They can still search the catalogue. If you decide to use TinyCat, they can even check books out (but not in).

How do I change the member name so that the library catalog can be searched publicly?

Please note that this will send a request and it can take a few days (especially on a Friday) for the action to be completed - the usual advice is for about a week.

Anyone can search your library now, without changing the name.
