No, this group is specifically for talking about Libarything.
Maybe you should go read a book?

Hi folks, I've been an Admin person for the LT Science! group for upwards of 2 yrs, but will have to step away from that role by the end of this year. I recommend that any new volunteer Science! admin person have 1 yr of science classes, ideally.

Hello,
I’m wondering if there is a punishment for not being able to complete a review of a book you won through “early reviewers”? Punishment isn’t the right word, consequences are more what I am referring too. I’m unable to obtain the book through an accessible library service which assists me in reading the print copy due to a disability.
I usually have no issue with this but for some reason I’m having a problem this time and although I am capable of reading the print copy it is much easier if I have both the print and my special audio version combined.
If I can’t complete the review will I be unable to receive future “Early Reviewer” books?
Thank you,
SingingCanadian

>5 SingingCanadian: Unfortunately, yes, failing to complete a review reduces your chances of winning future books; that is the way the system is constructed. After all, the demand for books is much greater than the supply, so there needs to be some way to determine who is most likely to get a book!
Since there often won't be audio copies of these books, since they are pre-release, perhaps you might want to think about concentrating on books available in electronic editions? I don't know if that would always make things easier for you, but at least the competition for those titles is much less.

>5 SingingCanadian: I want to mention, in case you didn't know, that consequences are temporary. If you eventually get your library service to assist with this book, or you eventually muddle through without the assistance, then as soon as you post your review the consequences are effectively removed.

>5 SingingCanadian:
Ordinarily, there are consequences, as >6 waltzmn: states.
Yours, however, is, in my view, anyway, an unusual circumstance. I would suggest you contact @AbigailAdams26, who handles ER issues, to see if an exception can be made.
