That couple was a woman, who was marrying her dead husband’s brother, and she just gave birth to twins who may have been either her dead husband’s through in vitro or his brother’s through the same method. The husband injures his hand before the wedding and has to have his ring resized.

She receives help from the local amnesiac and of course, they fall in love. He lost his memory in a car accident; he may have been driving a motorcycle. Whenever a memory would return, he would get a migraine. He may have been a reporter or a photographer or a photojournalist.
In the end, he discovers his identity and must go away to take care of some business, and the heroine thinks he isn’t coming back.
