"The Robot Wore Sensible Shoes!!"

Attack of the invisible stink machine.

Looks like a good head on that drink.

"Jimmy Olsen warned us about this one1!"

1. Although, isn't that a left foot stuck to a right leg? And won't the bullets carom off the robot, which is bad at such close range?

2. Is the pirate a mole, or is s/he pirating things from moles? I don't think .38 specials or fire axes are going to do much.

3. I'm just gobsmacked by his beard. And is the head of a tiny sexy woman bubbling out of that test tube?

4. What does the brain/robot body in a jar have to do with New York vanishing? Did the artist of the later Jimmy comic copy this? And wow, a cartoon history of Newton -- way to pad the pages out... not at all startling or thrilling.

Some good authors there who didn't deserve these; maybe some others who did.

#1 - Robot Moore Williams knew his stuff when it came to space raiders.

>3 paradoxosalpha: Good catch. Passing himself off as a human called Robert who's writing fiction, when he's a robot out of space doing non-fiction! Trying to make a few bucks to get his foot problem take care of; literally two left feet.

'In the next issue of Imagination: "I was pursued by Godzilla's buttplug!"'

OK...so we have a redshirt trying to rescue a bellydancer from a giant allergen. I don't hold much hope for him.

I dunno about this latest reboot of "The Flintstones."

Hindu deities, Buddhist demons: it's all pretty much the same, amirite?

1. Those two look rightly horrified.

2. That little grippy-arm isn't going to work; is he hoping to tickle the blob to make it giggle and let her go?

4. I could understand Shiva's fist being on fire, but why would he be punching out a star? Maybe he's appearing as the cosmic dancer. Doesn't seem to have as many arms as one expects from that area, either Buddhist or Hindu.

#1 - I wouldn't stand right in front of Robot Moore Williams when he/it is running at that speed. With the tiny visual receptors it has, there's no way it will see the gun-wielders before it tramples them. But the woman will be safe from gunfire that way.

#2 - "Damn ghost ships coming in here and gassing us!"

#3 - His Vincent Price cosplay isn't fooling anyone. That old "girl's head in smoke" is all just projected from a hidden lens somewhere.

"Imagination" of September, 1954 - Don't make Chiropractor Hulk angry - you won't like his spinal adjustments when he's angry....

So it's a Cybertruck. Explains the wonky foot, their build quality is notoriously bad.

>9 bam2001: Exactly my thought.

I don't think the guys with guns need to worry, he'll probably brick himself soon (he can't survive going over rough terrain) and the only harm the damsel will come to is from the short fall. As long as they all evacuate before he catches on fire.

Maybe his arm will fall off and she'll be freed that way.
