In entering selected essays by Thomas Paine, I came to observe that there are 4/5 authors by that name. The last one listed is composed, primarily, of Thomas Paine, Revolutionary Hero's writings. I was able to combine a few by merging them correctly with their corresponding titles. One remains, solely, my own possession, unshared by others. Others are quite beyond my capacity.

I have noticed before that lists of works can become quite messy. Partly, but not exclusively, because they are not entered by date. Paine probably consists of 20 (approximate) original works. My brain would find it ever so helpful to see, first, the titles of his original works, only. ( in order of publication date, better)

Then could come omnibus editions; collections, etc. I think I had other filing terms, but my brain cannot sustain these thoughts, long.

For instance, he wrote some pamphlets during the Revolutionary War to drum-up enthusiasm for the cause. These were called The Crisis, there is one work at least bs title - sort of catchall. Others have been separated, Crisis 1,2,3, etc. Then there were many modern variants, published, recently, with differing titles. If there is no ability to match these with their originals, wouldn't it be helpful if readers could at least see original works first followed by the thousands of later combinations.

It wouldn't look drastically different than the author page; first group, second group, etc. Most times, I dont need to look for thousands of works, reprinted in various ways. Mainly, I'm interested in seeing additional writings and my checkmarks.

There are omnibus collections of "Commonsense" and "Rights of Man"; then,
there are omnibus versions of "Rights of Man" and Commonsense" It can be confusing to look at titles by Paine, claiming to be written/published in 2009.
