language choice at log-in

Hello - for the last month or so, every time I log in I have to alert the site which version of English I wish to use, US or UK. This is annoying. Can it be fixed?

I know @timspalding had this on his plate to change (something about a cookie), I will remind him and see what we can do in the near future! Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

I believe I fixed this elsewhere. Anyone still get it?
