Found: Ya book - time of horses and swords - girl has powers / traveling alone after village slaughtered

Trying to remember a ya series about a girl traveling alone after her village was slaughtered… it’s a time of horses and swords and magic

There’s a bad guy who’s hunting her / he has an army

The book starts out with her dehydrated and found by a bunch of boys - they nurse her back to health and take her to their city

She has trained as a warrior and in the city all the women cook etc but are not warriors

She is rejuvenated by being in nature / in the trees

Sounds a lot like Ellana from Pierre Bottero
Young girl being rescued by some different race, hidden in the woods, when she turns 13 she goes back to the cities and spends time with orphans there before she learns to be a Marchombre ("Shadow Walker" - type of warrior) while most women are not warriors... she has different enemies throughout the book series..

If it's not that book I definitely still recommend reading it!
