Personal Challenge

I read when I can, and I read what I like, hence I have problems with 'reading groups' because I get hooked on themes...British Detectives, books about bookshops, Classics, and will read all of them until I cannot find anymore that look interesting. I love C J Sansom, but did not enjoy Wolf Hall. I love Jane Eyre, but no Wuthering Heights...weird, I know. So I am just going to read and follow my own choices and talk about them and if you enjoy them too great, if not just read for the sake of doing so and keeping your sanity in a world gone mad!
Love Harry Potter, LOTR, The Hobbit too.

Hello and happy reading for 2025! I know what you mean as I also sometimes get totally involved into a theme and can read quite a lot on it until at some point it just vansihes again. I am totally interest-driven with my reading and completely not compatible with reading groups :)
