Hi! I'm looking for a book I read around ~10 years ago? It was about a group of people living in an urban neighbourhood who created a community garden completely by happenstance. The character perspective changed every chapter.
The garden started off as a garbage plot (it was surrounded by apartment buildings and residents threw their trash there), but as the story progresses, residents start cleaning it up and planting stuff there. Chapter one starred a young girl who kickstarted the whole garden by planting one measly seed. I vaguely remember the cover being dark purple/blue, but I could be wrong.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me find the book!
