Hello all. I used to do a lot of travelling between 2014 and 2021 and utilized the Read & Return Policy religiously at airport bookstores. Needless to say, I read some really good stories (and some not so good), but I never kept the books. One of these books that I really enjoyed; I am hoping the team can help me find. The beginning of the book is on a plane that has landed in Colorado (or some other snowy US location) but everyone outside the plane is "frozen" in time. Not frozen in ice, but stuck, not moving in time. There is a doctor and few other "smart" or "experts" on the plane that start discussing if it is a disease or if they leave the plane will they also get stuck in time. But they have to do something. The rest of the book is involved about solving this mystery and what lead to it and goes to multiple locations, not just this snowy area. I believe, but cannot remember, but I believe the ending takes place in Arizona (or some other hot desert area) looking for the contraption that caused all this.

I'm sorry, I cannot remember if I merge other books I read. I really liked to read thriller, especially those with some sci-fi tendencies. If I read the back cover and I thought of Michael Crichton or it mentioned is name, i was buying the book.

Sounds a bit like Dead on Arrival?
