I'm going with 72 - 6 per month!

I just want to end up with 50% ROOTs at the end of the year.

75, at the moment. (I didn't manage to hit my goal last year so we'll see if 75 will work...)

I'll have a slightly bigger goal of 50 ROOTs this year :)

My goal will be 75 roots, the same as last year. I have added my ticker to the official Ticker Thread.

Plus, I love the Group picture of fountains!

60. It's the same goal last year and I barely succeeded, so it's possible without being too easy.

I'll be trying for 30 books that I have owned for over 6 months.

72 books for 2025. Doable but leaves enough room for deviation to follow my fancies.

However, although I reached my numerical goal last year it felt like the lowest percentage of ROOTs in a long time. It's just a feeling because I haven't actually kept an eye on the percentage in previous years. So this year I am also going to tally the percentage of ROOTS.

Goal of 40 ROOTs again this year, from TBRs acquired prior to 2025.

I've set a goal of 75, but I'll be counting the books that I add to my shelves this year (after I've read them, obv). I'm hoping this approach will help with accrued clutter.

Goal of 36.

My goal is as every year 10.

I am joining again and will set my goal for 2025 at 75.

I know that I exceeded my goal for 2024 but that was in large part due to all the recorded books I listened to while driving. All that driving was due to my move from Alabama to Kansas. I don't think I will be doing as much driving and so my overall numbers of books read will be lower for 2025. I am thinking that 75 will be an ambitious goal for 2025.

My goal is 48, but I'm away for a few days so won't be able to set up my thread or ticker till next week.

My goal in '24 was 24 Roots and since I managed to read 25 that's my 2025 goal.

I set up my thread. I am not going to do a ticker but will continue to report my numbers in the monthly thread at the end of each month.

I'm keeping my goal at 30 ROOTs.

I am going for 100 this year.

Greetings, all! I'm trying for 25, as I didn't get close to my 30-book goal last year. I didn't make 25, either, but I'm hoping for better off-the-shelf results in 2025.

My goal is 36 -- average of 3 per month.

12 is a good goal for me - I normally have to find a few short/quick books at the end of December, but I manage!
