My name is Will and I like the concept of reading some of the books that have been on my shelves for years. I never pass up an opportunity to add to my collection but I somehow feel wasteful ignoring some of my older volumes.
I'm new to this challenge, so in my first go around I'll be starting small:

I'm new to this challenge, so in my first go around I'll be starting small:

- The Tomb and Other Tales by H.P. Lovecraft
- Tales and stories for Black folks edited by Toni Cade Bambara
- The Time Machine and The Man Who Could Work Miracles by H.G. Wells
- The Family Reader of American Masterpieces edited by Ralph L. Woods

Welcome aboard! I find this group helpful for just the reason you've mentioned: I love buying books, and could easily go for a long time without reading any of the books I already own. Keeping a record here helps keep me focused on trying to make sure around a third of the books I read have been in the house for a while. Cheers!

>35 connie53: thanks for popping in, Connie. I might have one more Root book left this year. Lately, though, I've been reading a little philosophy. I hope you are doing well.

I'm doing okay for now. I have had some troubling times. But everything is settling down now. Thank you for asking.
