I came across this Kickstarter a bit ago, but it ends this Thursday, and I thought it might appeal to some folks here. It's called "A Place for All My Books", and is about organizing and admiring your books at home in order to charge up your social battery, which then allows you to venture out into town to purchase more books! :) The game is basically complete, the Kickstarter was made to do a deluxe edition (you can back for either version); you can see the finished artwork, read through the rulebook, etc. on the campaign page. It's also made enough money ($730K+ out of $15K goal so far) that the publisher is looking at doing some extra add-ons and throwing some special goodies in for backers.
I just can't get over how perfectly cozy the theme (and artwork!) is, and the gameplay looks fun, too. It's supposed to ship this summer, so I'm getting it as a Christmas gift for my wife.
You can check it out here, but remember it ends this Thursday:

That sounds fantastic!

Nice to see this recommendation. I ordered it a couple of days before the end including extra "books" for crafting. Maybe making mini covers of my favorite books to add to them?

Oh wow. What a cool idea. I'll try to remember to watch out for this in due course. I wonder if they'll ever make an online version.
