Found: picture book: fairies lose wand and thorns take over

I only remember the book so vaguely but I remember the pictures almost looked like screenshots from an 80s cartoon. Big heads and rag doll bodies. The fairies lived in a forest, they each had different color schemes for their seasons or fruits? They were mostly girls, there was a boy but I don’t know if he can wings or not. Anyway one of the fairies either loses her wand to a witch’s goofy animal companion or steals the wand from the witch? I can’t recall but someone breaks into a tower and takes a wand and the forest and fairies starts being over taken by thorns and vines.

is it Herself the Elf? I've got to reread it myself now, I'd forgotten it existed.
