For LibraryThing, can we have a separate folder/archive where we can put in books that we are hoping to purchase and one purchased, we can transfer the book from that folder/archive into the regular 'Your Books' archive?

Would also love to have a list where we can save the websites for the book suppliers we use.

Also I noticed today when I looked up a particular author, the book covers I had for those books changed to the latest editions version which looks completely different.

This should not be allowed to occur because of ISBN's getting re-used for updated editions and the system automatically updating the cover.

I shouldn't have to mannually change a book cover back to what I had because someone changed the book cover to an edition they have.

>1 CerberusBindweed: Many people use the built-in Wishlist collection for this purpose. You can add a book to this collection, and if you later purchase it, you can change it to the “Your library” collection and take it out of the Wishlist.

To avoid having covers change on you, first of all never select an Amazon book cover. Use a member-uploaded cover instead. I’ve further found that you need to go to Your Profile > Covers > Your Covers and uncheck “Show Amazon covers.” Otherwise if any of your books have a cover automatically selected as the best fit for the ISBN, even if was at one time a member-uploaded cover, it can change if additional copies make an Amazon cover the most popular cover for that ISBN.

LibraryThing has a Wishlist collection.

There is a notepad on your home page.p

Both Amazon covers and member covers, best guess by ISBN can change. Member cover chosen by you won't. It's how the system works. It has to do with publishers changing covers on their books. LT cannot control that. If you actually chose a member cover, it will not change, but yes, each book cover has to have been manually changed once.

BTW 'Recommended Site Featue' is not a very useful subject.
