It's a book about a girl who is ugly and has a Stone in her back, her companions are a goldfish with a stone in its mouth a toad with a stone in his head a cat with a stone in its paw and a crow with a stone in its wing. They gain two more companions a disgraced rusty knight and a unicorn with a broken horn. They are trying to find somewhere to exist.
