I think our very good neighbor and friend needs its own thread.
What a sickening stance #47 has taken.
But Canadians are not slow on the uptake of new circumstances.
As MAGA makes it harder to practice good medicine and the insurance industry preys on patients and medical professionals, why not relocate if you can?
B.C. looks to attract U.S. doctors and nurses with pitch to fast-track credentials and planned recruitment campaign

Welcome to LibraryThing. An interesting comment from someone who just joined today and hasn't yet entered any books on this book website.
The elderly author in >4 davidgn: and >5 John5918: does actually talk about his books, incidentally.

URGENT WARNING: Trump is Planning to Invade Canada! Malcolm Nance
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya3Q0-VCk1Q
Not the sort of material I ever thought I'd see on Stephanie Miller. (Now, there's a name I haven't heard in a while.)
Right now (and very specifically right now), Malcolm Nance is the CIA propagandist we didn't know we needed.
( The advertisement at the end is pitch-perfect Stephanie Miller and absolutely surreal. )

So, who's got a finger on the pulse of Alberta separatism? Is this standard fare? Is this new and probably funded by we-can-only-guess? How much more of this is out there? How much of it is new post-Trump II?

Alberta separatism waxes and wanes. It's been around for decades and generally tends to be stronger in areas outside the two big cities.
That being said, I don't think I'm plugged in enough to tell if this is more serious than the last spike.

New California and Greater Idaho movements have grown. It's only rational that Alberta's movement has grown too considering the disdain those governments have for those against the 'new common sense'.
