a middle school novel (or novel series not sure) about a girl who uncontrollably saw the future if she didn't wear a pair of special glasses.
the cover i remember i think had illustrations of her in the snow? take all of this info with a big "maybe" i'm really not sure.
i remember one incident where she was in the grocery store and a neighbour was buying a soap, she saw the future and saw that if the neighbour bought the soap they'd slip on it in the bathtub and die. so even though she couldn't reveal her family's magic she tried hard to stop them from buying the soap, though of course she was acting ridiculous in everyone else's eyes.
i believe her mum's side of the family had magic and her dad's side was normal so it sometimes created a clash? also i think at one point she went to some relative from her dad's side's place near the beach for something plot related and something bad mistakenly happened. also i think this relative had something to do with her special glasses. and though one side of her family had magic i don't think it was the same kind like she was the only one who had the condition of seeing the future without special glasses.
i believe she at least had a younger brother who hadn't reached the age at which he'd find his magic power (maybe 9, 10 or 13 but take this with a big grain of salt). or maybe he had passed the age but abnormally hadn't gotten his power yet and the grandparents from the protagonist's mum's side blamed the dad for it?
as hinted by the cover i'm pretty sure during a majority of the plot it was snowing and it was near christmas time i think? i am really not sure about this.
plus i believe at one point of the story everyone and everything froze in time except for her and part of the plot was accidentally causing that and then trying to fix it. i believe her solution had some sort of symbolism to it? plus i vaguely remember imagining her looking out of a window of her house after dark and seeing something disastrous approach in the snow while she was trying to find a way to unfreeze time which made her realise something?
OH OH OH and i think there was something about her finding other people not stuck in time and then finding out that all of them had the same birthday as her, and then maybe something related to a leather jacket and a motorcycle? i think she found these people maybe in an alleyway or i maybe she worked on some clues and went up to a door to a place within an alleyway or something man.
thats all i can remember for now please take the details of this with a dose of doubt but i'm positive that even if some things from my memory are wrong i'm remembering stuff from the same book/series only so there must be some base to my memory.
i eternally owe anyone who can help me find it i legitimately read this in middle school and i'm almost in college now, it's been long. but i distinctly remember this book and i really want to read it again so thank you so so much in advance 🙏

Pivot Point maybe? Not everything fits, but I immediately thought of it with the snowy cover, clairvoyance, and her father being normal while her mother involved in more supernatural stuff.

Hocus Focus has some similarities but it's been awhile since I read it so not entirely sure if it's a fit for some of this.
