Found: Magical realism, monster/sci-fi novel in NYC with kidnapping

Set in NYC. Written by a female author. A family with 1 child (and maybe the mom is also pregnant...) loses their child (son, I think, kidnapped). They and others are being spied on via their tablet and laptop cameras, without their knowledge/consent. Parents eventually find son in a park (maybe Central Park), in a cave or something, taken by an ogre or troll or other kind of monster. And they get him back.
