2025 Chicago Book and Paper Fair - June 14, 2025 - West Loop Location

The 2025 Chicago Book and Paper Fair will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 am to 5 pm in the ballroom of the Chicago Journeyman Plumbers Hall, 1340 West Washington Blvd. in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood.

High quality books, maps, and prints from numerous dealers will be available for sale. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, children 12 and under are admitted free. Close to public transportation. Parking is $5/hr in the garage.

The fair is sponsored by not-for-profit Midwest Antiquarian Booksellers Association.

Tempting but leaning toward spending my pre-Fathers Day actually reading, rather than visiting a source for reading material.

Me too, especially with my library in transit from one address to another.

Thanks for posting this. Once upon a time, it would have been a no-brainer. But once we moved out of the city--and as I have gotten older--I find my enthusiasm for shlepping even the relatively small distance from Evanston to the west loop is less than it once was. Plus, of course, as elenchus suggests, there's always the opportunity to read.
