Two science fiction novellas from her pen—Novic, a standalone prequel to Claiming T-Mo, the debut title in her Outbreeds series, and The Nga’phandileh Whisperer, a novella in The Sauútiverse—came out this past September.
Eugen sat down with me this month to discuss these stories and the series to which they belong, as well as the importance of Afrofuturist or Afro-irreal literature as a whole.
