Please make the export page remember what format I picked previously. Or give me a way to default it. Or put the format-specific links back on the More page. Or something. I rather doubt that most people regularly switch between export formats, and I'm finding the admittedly small UI change removing the specific links to be incredibly irritating.

You can bookmark your preferred format with one of these URLs, if it's helpful:

>3 antqueen: I'm confused. The export page has all the options right there AND it does remember the last one you used.

>4 SandraArdnas: It does not remember the last one you used. It defaults to tab separated.

>5 antqueen: Well, that was the one I used and it's not the first one on the list, so forgive me for thinking it defaults to the last one, but the fact remains the UI is now significantly more streamlined than it used to be. Go to export page, pick a format. Arriving at the page could only be more direct by putting it among tabs on every page, which is pretty crowded already, so unlikely.

>6 SandraArdnas: What, exactly, is more streamlined? I used to click a link and it did exactly what I wanted it to do without me having to make pointlessly repetitive setting changes every single time. Now I can't. You still can, because you use the default. I hardly think that this is an unreasonable request, especially after they have deliberately made the ui LESS streamlined for my non-default use case.

>7 antqueen: What link did you use to click? You had to go More>Export/Import and then choose among those. Now you go directly from More to export page with options right there. There's one step less (aside from export and import getting separate pages, which in and of itself is more streamlined). So the page itself is definitely not buried under more clicks. Altogether it's a 3 step process More>Export>pick options. And those options are not just the format, you pick there collections and other filters as well

Which settings are you wanting it to remember?

>9 timspalding: The export format. I don't think I've ever used the filters (though if you had one based on last modified date I might start), and they seem like something that would be likely to change fairly often anyway. But I doubt that most people change their desired format very often.
