Colorful riddles

I'm not eliminating the possibility that Mr. Technicolor is posing in front of an old sepia-tone photo backdrop at the mall.

If the pants were a colorful skirt and the boots were all purple/orange, I'd say "It's giving RuPaul's Drag Race and he's gonna sashay away."

Ah, heck, I'm saying that anyway.

I can see why he's carrying the crown. It left marks on his forehead (HED, maybe?) when he tried to wear it.

The ghostly harper cursed the prince with unspeakable fashion sense.

His fashion sense includes a medieval fanny pack.

The way the naked dirk is tucked behind the sporran looks ... hazardous.

What's with three gold stars on his forehead? Did he get them from the teacher for doing well in riddle master school?

(I do wonder why he's carrying the crown. Is he delivering it to someone at the bottom of the stairs?)
