I'm about 3/4 of the way through one of Sir Walter Scott's "Waverly Books," The Betrothed.

I really don't have anything new on my shelf this week. I finished Child of the Prophecy by Juliet Marillier and Dyer Consequences by Maggie Sefton on last Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving). Still working on Helen and Teacher by Joseph Lash and The Burning Time by Virginia Rounding and hope to finish them this month.

I finished The Betrothed by Sir Walter Scott. Next, from the "They Can't All be Classics" department, some light entertainment with The Slave Market of Mucar, the second entry in The Story of the Phantom series by Lee Falk, based on his popular comic strip.
