GR update regarding December 2025's announcement

Please let me know if any of the bugs in this thread are still being experienced.

Allowing groups to link mitigates a part of the hard slam of the original announcement.

DMs are still going away. And looks like it means links won't be allowed elsewhere (reviews? review comments?) and the same no to images I would assume.
