Why is this message showing up in almost all places when I wander around LT looking at almost any new page.
Which showed up, for example when I saved this message a moment ago.

Funny. I did two power edit deletes earlier today and never got any such message at all. Admittedly they were 12 books and 15 books.

>3 JoeB1934: Are you sure you turned the power edit off? That's one thing that comes to mind why it might bug members.
5MarthaJeanne
I turned it off as soon as I had done the two deletions.

>5 MarthaJeanne: Basically you're telling me that whenever I do something that causes it to show I need to close it, rather than just move on?

>6 JoeB1934: You should always turn off Power Edit when you're done using it. Otherwise it can create other problems, including deleting books you don't intend to delete.

All I'm doing is contrasting my experience to yours. >4 SandraArdnas: asked about turning power edit off, so I added that detail. I have heard of lots of problems people have had when they didn't turn it off, so I didn't want it on once I had done my task. But I do know that you can't just 'move on', because you will still be in power edit the next time you open your catalogue.

>1 JoeB1934: I know what message you're talking about: the "Power edit delete complete" notification.
I think you just need to mark the Notification as "Read", from https://www.librarything.com/notifications (or by clicking on the blue bell in the Notifications menu, for that Notification).
It looks like you have a slew of them as "Unread" from November 11. I'm going to mark them all as "Read" for you, if that's alright.
(I personally think that hitting the "x" next to the green pop-up notification should mark it as read, but I don't think that's how it's built.)

All of those Notifications should be marked as "Read", now.

Since I upgraded my IOS to 26.1 on my iPhone I have been unable to edit any book information.
Anyone else having this problem?
