Thank you Andrew! Looking forward to a good reading year, especially with adding in a bunch of new books from Yule this year. Strangely, since DH picked them out, there's a bunch of sea-faring ones: everything from Franklin's expedition to Captain Cook's last voyage to a wrecked ship with its crew still on board, and some of them still alive.

>7 threadnsong: I love seafaring books. I would also recommend Endurance : Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage by Frank Lansing. Endurance and Shackleton’s story has to be one of the more extraordinary failures!

IT'S A BOY!!! Joshua Jason made his appearance this morning at 9:26 PDT. 23 inches long and 6lbs, 3oz. Alisha wanted a brother, so she got her wish and is very excited. Our son and son-in-law now have their little family complete.
