I've updated the Award Organizations page (https://www.librarything.com/award/organizations). It's MUCH faster. (The old page fetched the award names one by one, which got slow once we had thousands of them.) It also has modes for pagination, by letter and by country.

Hooray! I was planning on doing some Awards work while I’m off work for the holidays so this is perfect timing.

Awesome, and just deleted 2 test organizations which didn't have a Country assigned, so easy to uncover. :)

I recommand some amendments:
1. It takes some effort to reach a high page number, for example, reaching "San Francisco Chronicle" on page 21 in the "United States of America" tab takes some effort. And manually adding "&page=21" to the URL does not work.
2. When click one of the organizations on/after page 2, then the Back button in the browser, the page would show "Not a valid type".
3. The list of organizations does not display their translated names on the corresponding language site.

>7 HsuBattery: Those are all bugs, I think. I'll draw them up.
ETA: I have the first 2 issues drawn up at https://www.librarything.com/topic/377567

>7 HsuBattery: Regarding #3: "The list of organizations does not display their translated names on the corresponding language site", can you give me a specific example?
I looked at https://www.librarything.com/award/organization/1260/China-Writers-Association, for example, and I'm getting the translated version when looking at the page in Chinese, traditional language on LT.

I fixed 1-2. I'm not sure about 3.

Thank you for fixing the first 2 issues.
Regarding #3,
https://www.librarything.com/award/organizations?mode=countries&country=us&a...
the organizations marked with green lines in the screenshot have their translated names added. On this page, their translated names should be displayed (and the sorting system would places them at the end of the whole list, so they might not appear on this page), but currently, their original names are shown instead.

>11 HsuBattery: Okay, got it. I'm not sure how @timspalding might be able to handle this one, but I'll draw it up.
