ROOT #2 A Rule Against Murder I've had this on my TBR for ages. Hope to get up to date with the Gamache series this year.

ROOT 3# The Bluest Eye. Such a difficult and sad story to comprehend. Very well written but I struggle with the message. I question if the cycle continues to this day which makes me even sadder.

ROOT #4 The Glass Castle

Root #5 The Candy House

Root #6 The Brutal Telling I'm hoping to make a huge dent in my Louise Penny collection this year!

Root #7 Bury your Dead Another Louise Penny read and accounted for.

Root #8 Love in the Time of Cholera For many there is not much to love about this novel,I however, truly enjoyed it.

>20 connie53: Hi Connie! Ugh, I've gotten involved in 3 book clubs which take me away from my ROOTS but here are two i recently finished.

Root #10 Moloka'i. Historical fiction regarding leprosy in the 1800's - mid 1900's. Enlightening but sad then happy.

Root #11 Ill Will What did I just read?! Psychological, suspenseful mystery. Quite a convoluted story with some shady characters.

>21 Carmenere: Three book-clubs can take time away from reading, that's for sure. Online book-clubs do that too, I noticed. When I finish a book it takes me almost a hour to keep threads up to date on several online clubs. But that's part of the charm of book clubs.
