Amazon Canada "Amazon server connect failed"

As it says in the subject. In Add books, source "Amazon Canada books" gives error "Amazon server connect failed".

Amazon UK, Amazon France and Amazon.com all media work ok.

With ASIN it works. But on a text search or ISBN it fails:

Doing some digging.

I've had this problem for a couple of months now. Doesn't matter if I'm searching books, music, or the whole site. Makes it hard to add Canadian titles.

Is there any progress on this bug? It intermittently works but mostly fails.

Also, don't just think about the nationality of the writer/topic: think about the audience -- what region might have a broad interest in the topic, or what university might study it. Consider
