Hello Everyone! Happy 2026! Can someone please help me sort something out? I have a 1st edition of "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" and I noticed that it does not have a 'Table of Contents' page. Everything else about the book seems to be fine and I know that it was repaired at sometime in the past. I also have the follow-up edition of 'The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes' and this volume does have a 'Table of Contents' page.
I would like to know if my copy of Adventures is actually missing this page or if this is the way it was originally published.
