I figured should put this here as I had spoken in a different group (Here): https://www.librarything.com/topic/378117 in regards to language lists and if possible to customise the short list for those whose languages aren't as common as others. (In my case, Maltese being only in the long list)

Customizing this list is a good idea. The current 'short list' is already getting rather long. At 22 it isn't really a quick option for the odd book a member might have brought back from vacation. It might be easier all around to limit the basic short list to less than 10 but to then have 2-3 customizable spaces for those who frequently add books from specific languages. Or even for some reason have a bunch of books to enter at one time from an unusual language.
