Today’s Reading Recommendations

Today’s recommendations are a nice mix of history, biography, and thoughtful nonfiction. Always something new to discover here

I play with the idea sometimes of reading widely enough to get at least one checkmark next to a name in either column, each day. Aside from the hazard of the lists changing from year to year, I've noted some days would leave me with considerably tougher choices than others.

Oh, was that all? Yes, I thought it meant the "On This Day" feature. I do like to look those over on a daily basis and see what comes up. Also fascinated by the occasionally strange coincidences of who was born and/or died on the same date.
