THE SERIES HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS CALLED "THE EDGE CHRONICLES"
hello! thank you in advance for reading this post.
i am looking for a book i read in my childhood (approx. 2010-2013) about a human boy who was on an alien (?) planet. i'm from the US and i read the book in english. it was a chapter book and part of decently (to my child brain) long series (4+ books). it was definitely aimed at tweens/pre-teens and did not include any particularly heavy or age-inapropprorpiate plot points. i don't remember much of the plot but it was the kind of book with a map (?) in the beginning and artwork interspersed throughout the chapters. i remember the covers being brown, with the title in big font and then a picture, in color, of some scene from the book, almost like a photo album or scrapbook style. the main character was white, had brown hair, and perhaps wore goggles on top of his head. i think he was between the ages of 10 and 15. he had a kind of futuristic name like huxley or something. i think he had a ragtag group of non-human companions and they did adventuring?
i read this book with my dad growing up and i would love to find it! i want to add that i selected it off the library shelf and this was not a childhood favorite of his or anything, leading me to believe it was published fairly recently to when i discovered it (early 2010s).
