Finished Checked Out by Abby Matthews.
Started The Snake, the Crocodile, & the Dog by Elizabeth Peters. My local library has challenges and one is to re-read book I liked. Still reading Cosmos by Carl Sagan and I think it will be a long time reading. Interesting.

Just started The Dreamland Express, a delightful children's book written and illustrated by H R Millar in 1927; my copy is a 1989 reprint. It's been on my railway bookshelf for many years and I've finally got round to looking at it. First impressions are good!

Also just started re-reading The Lord of the Rings by J R R Tolkien. It's my all time favourite fiction work. I first read it in 1972, and I've re-read it regularly since then; annually for the last two or three decades. It never fails to captivate and enthral me. We've just left Tom Bombadil!
