Hi LT'ers,
I am planning a trip later in the year with a week in New York, what are your recommendations for bookshops to see? New or second hand please.

Have you looked at the Local search?

>2 Diabolical_DrZ: Thanks, I'll look into those.
>3 gilroy: I could do that, or a Google search, but I was rather hoping for people's favourites or recommendations.

I recommend the Strand as a good general bookstore, with both used and new titles. They're a NYC institution. https://www.strandbooks.com/
If you are interested in children's books, I also recommend Books of Wonder, which has mostly new books with a rare section, as well as children's book-related artwork. They're a delight! https://booksofwonder.com/
Full disclosure: I have worked at both of these stores.
