>2 MsMixte: Don't you realize that if you DON'T reply to these threads and the user gets removed, the thread will disappear? Now you have the thread will stay and clog up the works. I can and do use the red X, but if people would just stop replying a lot of aggravation could be avoided.
Now we're stuck with this thread, I'll make it nicer. Here's a bumblebee.

Aww, thanks. She was a little cold and so sat pretty still before the sun came around and warmed her up. That is one stripey, cuddly kitty. 😁

One way NOT to use the site is to open new accounts after the first one has been flagged.

Oy vey. More cute needed.

>3 Bookmarque: This is why a purge of these accounts would be a good idea.
There's no need for these ghost threads.

>12 MsMixte: Removing/Purging that account won't remove this thread because you posted into it and your account is not purged. Removing a thread because the OP was removed when there is follow-up activity is... problematic. So not sure how that will help.
The ones that get flagged into oblivion are gone anyway. Which is what >3 Bookmarque: was saying - I know you are trying to be helpful but you knew this account will be toast and still chose to keep the thread around by posting in it. If that was intentional, please see >3 Bookmarque:; if you did not know that this is what happens in LT, please see >3 Bookmarque: again and please reconsider posting in such cases. :)

>13 AnnieMod: I did not know that, and will refrain in the future. Thank you for letting me know.
Edit: I did ask if they needed help with a book, however, in case they were a legitimate new user.

Thanks AnnieMod - at least you got through.

>14 MsMixte: Just flag. Flag the post. Flag the profile. One flag doesn't do it, but multiple flags on the message get rid of the entire topic if nobody has responded. Multiple flags on the profile get rid of the member and their other posts. (Being the fourth flag on a spam message is so satisfying, but it only works because of the first three.)

>11 justsomeone___: Using the title of an existing book does not make a topic acceptable. The topic would have to be about that book. It would also have to not be advertising, as many a spammy author has discovered.

>18 justsomeone___: You joined today. Added only that book (also today). However, nobody is stopping you from discussing the book if you want to.

>22 justsomeone___: "I" did not remove him. I did not see that post or anything else he posted. I do not know why he got flagged or staff decided to remove him.
You seen very informed about his doings. Did he read the Terms of Service? Have you read them? https://www.librarything.com/privacy That might give some insight as to why he was removed.
You are still not discussing the book you claim to like so much.
