On a work page, the Links section currently offers four Types for links: Official home page, Wikipedia, Publisher site, and Other.
Please add a Type to for the relevant page on an author's site. It's an obvious category, and I see lots of them (far more than Wikipedia pages for books).

Yeah I would enter those as Official Home Page

If we had both options, we could make a distinction between official home page: when a whole site (or section of a site) has been set up, more extensive than author's site: when it's just a single page among many on their site – which to me that doesn't feel important enough to call official home page. (Edit to add: but if consensus is to use official home page for both types, I can be on board with that way of doing things).

When you add a link you can designate it as part of the official home page and then just select the wording you feel is appropriate to tell people where they will be going. It's not that hard.

re: "official home page"
Links for works are comparatively new, and we're all working out different ways to use them. This term is open to interpretation, and so is its usage.
Personally, I agree with >Nevov and use that only for standalone sites that are dedicated to the book. They aren't common, but they do exist.
I know at least one other user who uses "official home page" for publisher links.

>5 Bookmarque: "It's not that hard."
LOL, I am aware: that's how I do it for the "Other" link type and explain that it's the book page on the author's site. And I do it on Publisher type links too, because books have different publishers in different countries.

-- "Book page, author site" 18 times
-- Publisher web site 53 times
I've also used "official home page" 10 times, all for authors.

More numbers. In the last three days, I've added
-- Official home page: 1
-- Wikipedia site: 6
-- author site: 62
-- Publisher site: 108
The "official home page" is the the dedicated site for Stay Gold by Tobly McSmith
