I have searched for this book on google and every data base i can and I haven’t found it so please help.So about three or four years ago i read a book based in the early 1900s in England and America.
The main character was this girl named Charolette, i belive. She was sixteen and she asked to go to America and “study” with a few close friend at a young millionaires fixer upper. She fell in love with the young millionaire named Milo but he was in love with an old married duchess whom he had an affair with. A boy loved Charolette too but she loved Milo. Basically what I remember is that the old lady Milo loved was killed after hunting and Charolette and Milo went hiking on a mountain. There was an avalanche and Milo was never found but Charolette survived. Years later he was found perfectly persevered at age 21. So please help me find this boooook please!!!!
