You can customize the page and see it as an option to drag around, but it's not there. If you look at a different book, the description is there. If you look at the same book in a private window, it's there. But if the book is listed in Your Books, you get the book info panel but no description. Not great if it's been a while and you can't remember...

Check the "Work-page top descriptions" checkbox - there is a "Hide On my Books" option. Set it on "Always show" and you will see the description on all books.

>2 AnnieMod: Ahh thank you, that's not exactly obvious.

>2 AnnieMod: Thanks for sharing the fix — that setting is really not obvious at all, I probably wouldn’t have found it myself. It’s interesting how small UI quirks can affect the whole experience, especially when you rely on descriptions to remember books.
In a way, it reminds me how different platforms handle user experience — whether it’s cataloging books or something more interactive like Win Casino Bangladesh, where clarity and ease of use also make a huge difference in how people engage with the platform.
