I thought I once asked this but cannot find any discussion on the topic. We would like to start adding records for online books with a live URL to the online book. What field is available for that and how do we make the url live?
Thank you
Thank you

I believe that just putting in the URL will not do it in the description field of the listing.
You can use an HTML "a" tag to do it. I'll try to make it appear here but you won't want to merely copy paste since there are special codes to make this work:
<a href="https://URL-to-book">Text label to display</a>

Yeah, I just put the links into the comments field. They don't appear to be live when I first save, but refresh the page and they're good.

Yes, I see that now thanks. However the Comments field does not show up in the brief record. Is there a way I can control what fields are part of the brief record, and add it?

>5 yedlint: What are you referring to for "brief record"?

This book of mine has the comments at the bottom, and I customized "Your Book Information" on the work page to include the comments. (picture 1)
For the catalogue view, you can add comments as a column to any of the 5 style settings (A-E). (picture 2)
