Bug on author's name?

Hi, I often find it impossible to change the author's name on a work. If I do, the work's name remains the same; if I edit it again, I find the correct name (the one I entered), but the work's page still shows the incorrect one. I've tried waiting, deleting it, and adding it back, and recalculating it, but nothing! An example is the name of the work "Misericordia Dei" (https://www.librarything.com/work/29237399): the author is John Paul II, but I can't change it to "iicatholicchurchpope." How is this possible? As I said, this has happened to me with other works as well.

This is a known bug.
Most times, to fix it, you go to the author page and click recalculate author name under the helper hub
