1970s

I was born in 73 and shortly after was given a very small children’s book of which I am desperate to find. if memory serves it was a small red book and on the cover was a little girl -maybe in the window of a cottage- baking cookies in the shape of hearts, and I think there was a cookie garland of hearts hanging above her. The illustrations I think were sort of patchwork quilt inspired, and the only colors I remember were like a paper bag brown, red and white. There might have been more colors, but this is what I remember. It wasn’t a large book, it wasn’t typical children’s book size. It was about the size of a square wallet maybe. But not a teeny tiny miniature book either. It wasn’t Holly hobby, but potentially Holly hobby-adjacent.
