ISBN:media mismatches

I've been engaged in checking bundle ISBNs vs my LT books, and wondered if there was a way to see if the ISBN used for a book matches the media type selected via an export?

I know when I first started buying bundles you'd often find the ISBN on the copyright page was for a paper book not for an ebook, and when I found the ISBN plug-in for calibre it didn't always pull a digital ISBN if there was also a paper ISBN.

Want to make sure I follow. Are you asking for an export that flags books where your media type (e.g. "ebook") disagrees with the format the ISBN actually represents (e.g. paperback) — so you'd get a list of likely mismatches? Or just an export with ISBN and media side-by-side so you can eyeball it yourself?

Basically the first option...

I have ebooks dating from when I used to read on a Palm m500 - which were likely to have been digitised copies of paperbacks.
