Some sort of error just happened.

I'm getting the following messages when I try to go to a work page. Author pages are ok, but this error appears when trying to look at titles:

Some sort of error just happened. The error was logged and Tim has been alerted. If problems persist, email timspaldingAT SIGNlibrarything.com

In most cases, the problem can be fixed by using this link.

The reported error was:

Problem with the concurrent query manager in the LibraryThing Bureau of Garbage Collections.
We have an entire room of trained monkeys working to solve the problem..

Ok, whatever that was seems to be rectified now 😊

You're forgiven, with thanks to the roomful of trained monkeys!

I'm adding this here because I'm getting the same message:

I was adding items to a few series (including one newly created) and it was working for a bit but now I keep getting this message when I try to look at the series.

The series are Lego Shell and Lego Racers. (And yes, I know they're not books but I kept tripping over Lego bricks all over the site so I decided to tidy them up.)

MacBook Pro iOS Sequoia 15.3.2 (24D81)
Firefox 140.0.2 (aarch64)

Thanks.

By the way, we saw monkeys around the house this morning and there were some later this morning at Riding for the Disabled (where I volunteer) halfway across the city. I do hope they're not yours. Get them back on the job.

It seems to be working now, thanks.

>1 Bookwomble:, >5 superboy: Copying the full text of that message isn't very helpful, as it is a standard message that we have been seeing for years. um, maybe decades.
