Book covers not changing upon upload/URL import

I turned off “Show Amazon covers” almost a year ago, and have been working on going through my library and updating all my covers to LT-hosted covers (I want the covers in our library to reflect our actual covers; Amazon covers frequently do not match, or they change over time).

Most of the time, when importing a cover via URL or uploading them from my computer, the cover shows up right away. But I’ve had a few books that no matter what member-uploaded cover I select, it refuses to show up in my library or on TinyCat.

Here are a few examples of covers not updating:

https://www.librarycat.org/lib/momofeight/item/125445470
https://www.librarycat.org/lib/momofeight/item/272738516

And two that I uploaded yesterday that worked right away:
https://www.librarycat.org/lib/momofeight/item/266935869
https://www.librarycat.org/lib/momofeight/item/125141363

I have tried hitting “Recalculate cover” for these books that are not updating, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any tips would be appreciated!

Update: I realized I forgot to include browser info, just in case that has a bearing on this case. I was using
Brave v 1.90.122 (a Chromium-based browser).

This morning, I switched to my Chrome browser (v 148.0.7778.179), and was able to successfully get the first three covers linked above to update properly. They are now showing the correct covers.

HOWEVER, when I tried updating a few other books I knew I was having trouble with, two of the three did not save correctly.

So I switched to my Safari browser (version 26.4 (21624.1.16.11.4)), and tried those two again, and they seem to have saved correctly this time.

That leads me to think this is likely a browser caching issue. I have tried to do a hard-refresh of my pages, but that’s not enough. Next time I run into this issue, I think I’ll try doing a site-specific clearing of cache, and see if that’s enough to make me able to update the cover correctly.

I'm seeing covers on all the links above. Can you try again? If you don't see them, try to force-reload or hard-refresh.

Pasting the directions on that from Claude: "To make sure you're seeing the latest images, try a hard refresh. On Windows, press Ctrl + Shift + R (or Ctrl + F5); on Mac, press Cmd + Shift + R. On mobile, you'll usually need to close the tab completely and reopen it, or clear the browser's cache in settings. If the old images still appear, clearing your cached images and files, or opening the page in a private/incognito window, should confirm whether it's a caching issue."
