In another thread, a reference was made to Ask the Fellows Who Cut the Hay, a work I was unfamiliar with. It sounds wonderful; at the same time, the title made me laugh. I can't explain why.
Thinking of the standard preoccupations of pressmen, what are some titles to nonexistent books that sound to you as if a fine press would release them?
Some examples:
Printer's Pie: The William Morris Recipes
On Thrushes Caught In Cyclones
Thistle, Bristle, & Scat: Poems
How To Clean An Albion
Speak, Memory: 33 Translations Of The First Line Of The Odyssey
Engravings Of Acorns
