Let's vote: Is this internment ceremony taking place indoors or out?

Definitely outdoors. They are wearing environment suits and the stars and spaceship silhouettes behind them clinch the deal.

That obelisk on the right has a strangely asymmetrical base.

Honestly, I don't think it takes four (presumably) adult aliens to lower a coffin in Ganymede's gravity.

Also, you just know the artist was almost done with that right-hand side and suddenly muttered, 'Damn it! I can't fit my signature in! I'll need to widen the base ...'

Outdoors. Right next to their giant glass spaceship.

I’m not sure it’s an interment ceremony. I’m seeing an alien version of curling, with a very large stone and really skinny brooms.

>3 NomadUK: Maybe they're adapted to Ganymede gravity and need more guys? Or maybe they're burying someone/thing that's heavy?

Is it humans?!

Maybe they're just that pathetic. Like the obelisk.

>4 daard23: Yeah, this is one case where a smaller image might make things a bit clearer. I initially failed to put the bits and pieces together and think "spaceship."

You know, I don't understand that blurb. "After twenty-five million years, they had returned - but no one was ready for them..."

Well, duh! With so much other stuff going on, spaceship flights and so on, who remembers 25 years ago, let alone 25 million? For evidence of that, look at the current state of affairs.

Obviously, whatever "they" did 25 million years ago wasn't heinous enough to stick in the memories of the Coffin-droppers....

>8 Hammy_JLK: 25 mya we barely had apes spreading, who last I checked didn't pass on any history. Of course no one was ready for them!

And even if someone knew they had been there 25 million years ago, why would anyone expect them to come back after being gone that long? It's not like they hung a big sign on the planet saying BACK IN TWENTYFIVE MILLION.
