Nonfiction recommendations

I love the recommendations feature and use it all the time. I've found many great books this way. To have some control over what gets recommended, I only have my "favorites" collection used for determining recommendations. But it's been a long time (months? A year?) since I've gotten non-fiction recommendations although there are many in my Favorites collection and I keep adding them there. Are they not included on purpose? I miss getting them!

Hm. Strange. Maybe I'll try adding my whole nonfiction collection to recommendations and see if it changes. But I've been seeing these genres for ages now, even when the new recommendations don't seem to fit them. Is this what others see on this page as well?

>3 navelos: This is what I see. If I click the “…” to expand the genres, the only additional one is General Fiction. BTW, in my settings, I have all genres enabled except General Fiction and General Nonfiction.

>4 Charon07: Thanks for the responses. I'll fiddle with my settings and collections and see if that makes a difference. And maybe I need to read less romance novels for a while and let the nonfiction books catch up!
