This isn't a bug, per se. I perform total deletions of a books in my library so I can rebuild with a complete new set of tags. In some cases, the import tells me I have a large number of books already in the library but the standard count tells me there aren't any such.
I ignore the warning and simply say to import duplicates again. That seems to be fine and I get all the books intended in my csv file.
This has been happening for several weeks now, and you don't need to fix this issue for me. Possibly few other members do this total deletion.

>1 JoeB1934: How long after you do the deletion do you do the re-import?

>2 knerd.knitter: Usually within a few minutes. The next time I do this, like today, I will stall a while if you advise that I do so.

>3 JoeB1934: It could just be that the cached data hasn't yet caught up. Maybe try giving it an hour and see if it still happens.

>4 knerd.knitter: I waited at least an hour with no change. However, I did notice something which will be useful to you. It said my library has 848 books still in the system. This number of 848 has been there for several weeks.
So, it isn't a value that changes and that means there is some register not being cleared. This is in JoeB1934 library, and I am importing it all at the moment.

>6 knerd.knitter: First I did a delete of all books in the library.
Then I chose a full library csv file with titles, authors, ISBN etc.
Then I clicked Upload and it did the usual checking for acceptable ISBN.
It was at the end of this upload that it said I have 848 duplicates and I choose to import duplicates again because if I don't pretty much nothing is imported.

>7 JoeB1934: Oh, so it's in the import process you're seeing 848, not on the profile page or home page or anything. Got it.
